At Ezytagz & Charmz, we are committed to providing handcrafted, personalised tags and charms. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please review our terms and conditions. Your understanding helps us maintain the quality and accuracy you expect.

Personalisation & your responsibility

  • Accuracy of Information: All tags are engraved exactly as entered by the customer during the order process.
  • No Seller Liability: We are not liable for any mistakes, misspellings, or incorrect phone numbers provided by the customer.
  • Verification: You must review your order confirmation immediately. Any errors must be reported within 2 hours of placing the order; otherwise, production may have commenced, and changes cannot be made.

Legal requirements (UK only)

  • The Control of Dogs Order 1992: It is your legal responsibility to ensure your dog’s tag contains the owner's name and address (including postcode).
  • Compliance: While we provide engraving services, the owner remains liable for any fines (up to £5,000) resulting from incorrect or missing information on a tag in a public place.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

 

  • Bespoke Goods: In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day "cooling-off" period does not apply to personalised or custom-made items.
  • Cancellation: Orders for personalised tags cannot be cancelled once engraving has begun.
  • Faulty Goods: If an item is faulty or does not match your specified order instructions, please contact us immediately so we can try to resolve the issue.
  • Variations: Small variations in engraving depth, font size, or alignment may occur due to the handmade nature of the product and the shape of the tag.

Delivery information

  • Address Accuracy: We are not responsible for non-delivery if the shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete.
  • Standard DeliveryMost personalised items are dispatched within 5-7 days, while pre-made items are dispatched within 24-48 hours. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. If you require your items to be sent via a tracked service please contact us for details - this service will be at an extra cost but we endeavour to keep fees low.

Limitation of Liability

  • Safety Disclaimer: Tags and split rings are small parts and may pose a choking hazard. Do not allow pets to chew on tags.
  • Lost Pets: Our liability is limited strictly to the replacement or refund of the tag itself. We are not liable for any costs or distress associated with a lost pet.

To fulfil your order for personalised tags, we collect and process the following personal data:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Your name, billing address, shipping address, email, and phone number.
  • Engraving Data: Any personal information you provide to be engraved on the tag, which may include names, addresses, postcodes, and emergency contact numbers.
  • Transaction Data: Details about payments to and from you, though we do not store full credit/debit card numbers (these are handled by our secure payment processors).

2. How and Why We Use Your Data

We process your data under the following lawful bases:

  • Contractual Necessity: To manufacture your custom tags and deliver them to your specified address.
  • Legal Obligation: To maintain financial records for tax purposes or to comply with law enforcement requests.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We only share your information with third parties who are essential to our service:

  • Delivery Partners: Sharing your name and address with couriers (e.g., Royal Mail) to deliver your order.
  • Payment Processors: Your payment details are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways.
  • IT Service Providers: Website hosting and order management systems.
